ST KILDA has started its Round 18 clash against Fremantle in superb fashion, booting the first four goals of the match to stun the visitors.

At quarter time St Kilda leads 4.3 (27) to 1.1 (7) and is on track to cause one the boilovers of the season.

The Dockers are missing a couple of big names (Aaron Sandilands and Hayden Ballantyne included) but started the match against the bottom-of-the-ladder Saints overwhelming favourites to make it nine in a row.

However it was the young Saints who looked far more ferocious in the opening term.

St Kilda lost Sean Dempster in the opening minutes, the defender colliding heavilty with Freo skipper Matthew Pavlich. Dempster was carried off and later substituted out with concussion.
