NORTH Melbourne has romped home to record a big win against Sydney in the wet at the SCG.

The Kangaroos lead at every change and finished running away from the disappointing Swans 13.13 (91) to 6.12 (48).

North adapted to the conditions quicker than the Swans and took their chances in front of goal as Aaron Black kicked three goals.

Scott Thompson starred in defence keeping Lance Franklin quiet and stopping countless Sydney attacks.
