AUSTRALIA has completed an Ashes whitewash after winning the fifth and final Ashes Test by 281 runs on Jane McGrath Day at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
The win was fittingly sealed when captain Michael Clarke took a catch at stlip to dismiss England No.11 Boyd Rankin for a duck off the bowling of Ryan Harris, who finished with innings figures of 5-25 and was named man of the match, as England was bowled out for 166.
