Superstar sprinter Black Caviar is a notable omission from nominations for Saturday week's $400,000 Sportingbet Classic at Morphettville.
The Peter Moody-trained sensation won the fillies and mares sprint feature last year before returning to Adelaide a fortnight later to claim the $500,000 Group 1 Goodwood (1200m) at Morphettville.
Moody won't be without a runner in the feature, however, with impressive last-start Adelaide winner Kulgrinda among nominations.
It is expected Black Caviar's quest for a 26th consecutive victory will come in either the Goodwood at Morphettville on May 11 or the BTC Cup, which carries $100,0000 less prizemoney, in Brisbane on the same day.
The Sportingbet Classic shapes as an outstanding affair, with nominations including Sydney speedsters Snitzerland and Ortensia as well as quality Victorians Yosei, Lady Melksham and Shamal Wind.
