Melbourne Victory have taken legal action, claiming they have not been paid for playing a soccer friendly against Greek powerhouse Olympiakos earlier this year.
The A-League club are seeking a promised $110,000, plus interest and legal costs, for their part in the match held at Etihad Stadium in May.
The Victory have lodged a statement of claim in the Victorian Supreme Court.
The match was Victory coach Ange Postecoglou's first in charge, with the Greek club winning 4-1 in front of a smaller-than-hoped crowd of 16,877.
According to the Victory's claim, under a written agreement, the club was to receive a $110,000 fee to play the match from promoter John Denison and company Denison Corporation Pty Ltd.
The deadline for the fee to be paid was July 31.
The Victory also claim two other companies, SEQ Global Pty Limited and SEQ Olympiacos Pty Limited, agreed to indemnify the Victory should Denison not pay the fee by the deadline.
The Victory say those two companies have also failed to comply with the agreement.
